My name is Jason Boyce, I am a recent graduate of San Francisco State with a degree in Cinema Production. I've studied Cinematography, Screenwriting, Editing, Interactive Film Production and Directing.
I currently work as a Video Production Manager for the World Affairs Council, a nonprofit that hosts weekly events involving Presidents (I have filmed the President of Croatia and the President of Estonia), Ambassadors (Brazilian, South African, Pakistani, Saudi Arabian, and US Ambassadors to many other countries), as well as countless authors, journalists and other news makers. With these programs, I film, edit and release for distribution to Akimbo video on demand, Comcast video on demand, The California Channel, Google Video, and other online distributors.
I have also written, directed and produced various promotional shorts for nonprofits including the World Affairs Council and its sister organisation, the Global Philanthropy Forum.
In addition, I create my own music from scoring soundtracks to entire albums, in which I compose all the music, play all of the instruments and record in my own studio. I have also shot weddings, short films, and written other shorts that have been put into production. I am also an experienced animator with flash and have worked previously as a web designer.
I have invested in an HVX200 with P2 cards, a full editing studio including a powerbook for on-the-go capturing and editing, tripods, shoulder braces, on-location sound equipment and in-studio sound as well.
