HVX200 Imager Dimensions

HI

I know the HVX200 has 1/3 inch native 16:9 imagers, but does anyone know the exact dimensions in mm ?

The 1/3 inch measurement is a hold-over from old camera tube technology, so there's no clue there...

1/3 inch 4:3 chips are 4.8 x 3.6 mm (6mm diagonal) .... but that doesn't help with native 16:9 chips...

I want to know so I can input correct CCD size in some pre viz software.

I don't know that anyone's ever gotten a definitive answer to this question. My guess (and it's only a guess) is 5.25mm x 2.95mm.

I've been working with 5mm ... and it seems close for my needs. But I wondered if there actually was an answer!

But if you don't know, then no one outside of Panny does!
