DVX Users,
I need your help! I have a unique opportunity to shoot a concert at the Vietnam Wall in DC on Nov. 11. This shoot will become part of a tv show I am producing and directing that follows country music star Darryl Worley as he entertains the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This coming weekend is the 25 year anniversary of the Vietnam Wall. Darryl's been invited at the last minute to play a few songs at the ceremony and it looks like it might pan out. I also have an exclusive interview request in with Gen. (ret) Colin Powell. It's a fantastic story that gives thanks to our current troops and vets.
What I don't have is any cameras (other than my own old DVX100a). Ideally, I would like to use two HDX900s but two HVX200s would definietly work. We are in the process of funding the project and this will by no means be a free or low pay situation in the long run, however, I'm not sure we'll have funding in place by this weekend so we may just have a couple hundred bucks cash to offer for a rental.
We are driving to DC from Knoxville and would gladly go a little out of our way to pick up a camera somewhere in between. My credentials are rock solid, my last film was picked up for distribution and is now available on DVD, www.warandtruththemovie.com. I've done lots of work for Warner Bros. and other studios. This is an important project but we need your help!
