Hey I've been reading about the graininess of the HVX's blacks alot on here, but mostly they talk about low light. I've had my HVX200 for about a year and a half and it seems like the blacks have been getting grainier and grainier.
I don't know if it was a setting that was accidently hit, but it feels like the gain is on when its not. And I was just outside shooting with the camera's shutter on 120, F.6, and ND at 1/8 and I still had zebra's so it was pretty bright outside.
When I brought the footage into FCP and watched it on a monitor all the blacks were noisy and everything else was fine.
I don't ever remember having this problem before and I know that noise is just a given with the HVX. So does anyone have an idea? I would hate to have to send it in. I will appreciate any advice or help you can give! Thanks.
