I had my HVX capturing over Firewire from with Premiere Pro no problem, then after I went to P2 mode for the first time, I couldn't get firewire to work anymore, even after I switched back to tape mode.
My cheapie camcorder still captures fine with the same computer, cable and 1394 port, so I know it's something with the camera.
Is there some sort of buried menu menu item that gets activated in P2 mode, or did my firewire port just stop working? Why would it stop working in VCR-Tape mode?
Any help appreciated.
