Hvx200 Filters

Back to Circular Polarizers, it is important to know that panning and camera movement can be problematic--it changes your orientation to the sun and the sky changes saturation. I love them, but it is good to know how you will be limited in using them.

Good for establishing shots and other "still" shots, bad for sporting events or action shots.

Click on DB9 vs Train bottom right. There are some gorgeous shots of the car in that one.

Loads of shallow focus, colour grads, low wide angles, great composition, dutch angles, etc. etc.

Take a look!

one filter at a time from what i understand with the screw on filters. I agree with some of the others def. shoot it clean and color it in post. magic bullet is ok, i like to use combustion for some of my color work.

Well... let me tell you some thing:

I have made films an commercials for about 33 years, and since I leave the film camera (1996) and went to digital video, post software, plugs and etc. I only have used 4 filters: linear polarizer, soft (Mist), graded ND M and UV attached all the time to the camera lens. (I leave in a Latin America Andes Mountains Country at more than 2800 mts over the sea), very UV landscape!
The rest is made in post.

And advise: filters some how interfere with auto focus, so I almos never use this, focus manually.

Sorry about my english, I hope you understand me.

Sorry to revive an old post. The reason you may have trouble with autofocus is that you are using a linear polarizer. Try a circular polarizer if you need AF.
