Hi everyone ... I GOT MY CAMERA !!! I want to thanks David at Leo's Camera store

Now all I wanted to say that it a great camera, and after playing a while with it, I would add this to what already been said.

Why didn't panasonic include a LENS CAP ??? When you have to remove the hood for storage... no lens cap ... Anyway I ordered a uv filter, so I use the UV filter package as lens cap, and it hold on very well ;) Less stuff into the garbage, a healier planet.

DVCPRO 50 (It been said already but.. ;)) It is a great format, and it the format I will be shooting. Unless I want to do Film transfer, or I have enough people with real HD monitor and player to read HD content, DVCPRO 50 16:9 mode is my new friend.

Low light and noise (Again), I went to my brother office at the 47th floor to do some filming of the city at night, but this is not the camera for doing this. Result are less than impressive, but I wasn't surprised, even my SLR camera doesn't do a good job without long exposure... at 12db I had more details. As for noises, I am very happy, nothing much to complain about.

In the future, once a noise free camera is release, people will complain because it noiseless, and will make post with different ways to try to get noises... expose to radiation or EMF and stuff like that ;) You are all crazy.

I understand some have more highend need for this camera, and noise and resolution might be a problem, and this camera is not targeted to these users. But for the rest of us, it a dream come true.

OH, I am still searching the way to do slow-motion playback ;). In the scene, I can't change the freaking Frame rate... But it doesn't bother me much, I will find it.

All of this talk about unimpressive images is puzzling and disturbing, and I'm really wishing I could see examples. The night-time images from (Amsterdam?) that Jan showed at ResFest in Chicago were, to me, astounding.
