HVX200 Dropped - Focus making noise

So the strap on my camera case broke and gravity wanted its camera back. sigh

The camera still works, but when on auto focus and under load - there is a rather loud vibrating/whining noise. It is also prevalent but softer while turning the focus ring manually. Luckily I never shoot on auto, so I can keep using the camera. But would like to figure out what is the problem and how much it might cost to fix.

Has anybody encountered this problem before?

its possible the drop caused a misalignment in the lens. We could check it out for free, no estimate fee, and pay for return shipping if we repair it for you. I'll even cut you a discount. Those lens issues are a pain :badputer:
 
Anyone know the paint that is used on the body of the HVX/HPX? The black paint that looks almost metallic. I have a few scratches I want to touch up.
