HVX200 downcovert to SD NTSC & PAL?

I apologize in advance if this has been asked & answered already. I searched as extensively as I could...

Is it possible that this camera will be able to downconvert to either NTSC or PAL SD when coming down from the HD signal? It seems like it could be possible.

If not, will there have to be two versions of the camera?

There will be two versions, one that records standard-def in NTSC, and the other that records standard-def in PAL.

..and yes they do downconvert.
