HVX200 DC Cord

Panzer

New member
Hi! This is my first post, but I've been lurking the forums for some time, trying to absorb as much information as possible. I have a second hand HVX that came whit the AC Adapter/Battery Charger but without the DC cord; it was ok as my needs were mainly for exterior shootings. Now I want to move into some projects that involve interior shootings, so naturally having that DC adapter would be a great asset.

So, how can I get a new DC Cord? Do I need the official one from Panasonic or are any unofficials out there (haven't located any so far)? This DC adapter it's exclusive for the HVX200 or it's shared with other models of cameras?

Thanks for reading, and thanks also for all the answers I have found on this forums!!

I had a similar issue (needing new one)..mine was stolen. After looking at numerous aftermarket ones that were cheap I determined the best bet is to get a new panasonic version.
Ive read many things about the aftermarket ones including not fully charging batteries, catching on fire etc. But I actually found a great deal at Spec-Comm. Reputable dealer with a huge presence here on the boards. You have to buy all three parts to the charger seperate. Ill link all three just in case. Spec-Comm ROCKS, they have the best price I've found anywhere......and no....I'm not affiliated with Spec-Com haha!!!

Im glad to hear that the one you need is only $20. One of the Production companies I do freelance for has an HVX an A B camera so they let me borrow their charger to juice up my 5 batteries so there hasn't been any interference so far.
