in the panasonic website says shot in DVCPRO HD. Isn't that the camera?

The ad was probably shot on the Varicam, like the DVCPRO Panasonic DVD's that are floating around. The ad's been around for at least two months, and ironically, people are missing the point of it. IT SUCKS TO WAIT. :)
 
Isaac's correct, it was shot on the VariCam.

There are other DVCPRO-HD cameras, including the HDX400, and another discontinued 1080i model that I can't recall now.

I agree that it looks a little flat. It needs a little colour correction to give it some punch.
