HVX200 - can I set a Timer to record Timelapse

Hi
Anyone know if I can set the HVX200 (US/Canada model) to record timelapse sequence from a timer - so I can set up in the late evening and go away to bed, and let it wake before me and record the time lapse of sunrise scene on it's own...? can't find this in either interval or oneshot chapter in the manual
And don't call me lazy! :) I need to do this after a long days filming, so I can't be up at 6.30am doing this

please God I wont have to drag my weary self from bed at 6am on Sunday to this timelapse record... I thought I heard before that there was a way of setting time of day timecode on the HVX200 and setting it to start recording at a set time, anyone know if this is in theory possible?

I've never heard of any such functionality in the 200. If you're running off AC why not just start it in the evening and let it run. Usually for timelapse card space won't be a problem... if it is you could use loop mode.

That's probably the solution I'll go with so thanks for that! much appreciated!

I have a question that goes along with doing timelapses that span a long period of time(dawn til dusk) or that record through a large varience of exposure range(dusk and dawn). What is the best way to keep a good, constant, and correct exposure through out these sorts of timelapses? I don't know how many people can just stand and watch a monitor all day or for several hours to monitor the exposure, I also fear that adjusting the f/stop will be very noticeable, even if the adjustment keeps a correct exposure. Can somebody please help me out here??? If there is a thread that already answers my question, I'm sorry for the re-post of the question, but it would be great to direct me to that thread if it exists. By the way, I'm shooting on an HVX200, usually set at 2fps, 350 deg. shutter, running 8GBx2. I am able to get 16GB cards to do longer ones. I belive at 2 fps I can get 400 some odd minutes outta both cards, if that info helps on how to keep correct exposure/card run time....
