Dear Folks:
I understand that pixel shift allows the HVX200 to create a full 16:9 HD image. I understand I am not dealing with square pixels.
I shot 720p 24pN on the HVX200. I am confused as to whether to use 960 x 720 or 1280 X 720 in the in capture and sequence settings in final cut pro.
I want a real 720p 1280 by 720 image as my final product. I am using ProRes to edit and finish, as a) the project is destined for the web and b) I will be adding HMC150 footage converted to ProRes in FCP. (By the way, there are so many 960 x 720 options in ProRes!)
How far off am I with the following settings:
Here are my Capture Settings in FCP 6:
Here are my Sequence Settings in FCP 6:
Any help would be terrific.
Thanks!
