Well, enough trouble with disconnecting firewire cables...
I just found these amazing 4 pin firewire chassis and cables:

They lock and are even IP68 waterproof so I ordered a set of the 4 pin locking cable chassis and a cable with the 4 pin plug and normal 6 pin to mount on the Firestor.
Unfortunately my Firestore broke down but will keep you posted when my tech guy has 'pimped' my HVX!
