Hi Guys,

I have been using Avid Liquid 7 for about 8 months now and know my way around it pretty well, it has been extremely reliable for me, But the lack of HVX support is going to drive me away soon. I wondered if i switched to Vegas 7 what am i going to lose in terms of features and functions? And why is Vegas sooo cheap?

P.S "I use sorenson squeeze for encoding and DVDit pro 6 for authoring"
Any help here would be much appreciated:thumbsup:

Vegas doesn't have native HVX support either. But with the newest version of Raylight you can get really rather comprehensive HVX support.

 I just read about raylight it sounds good. It'd be good if they'd just bring out an update for liquid! When r u coming to Melbourne next Barry? I met u there last time

I have to figure out a way to get down there for the Australian Open some day, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen this year! :) Fantastic country; magnificent fish & chips, and I'm still kicking myself that I missed Kire Te Kanawa performing at the Sydney Opera House. I was even there that night but had no idea that's what was going on... grr. When I had a free night I was going to go over there but I found out that the performer that night was some guy from "Savage Garden".

Oh well. I am definitely gonna get back down there someday; my daughter wants us to go to Queenstown in NZ for some of the bizarre extreme sports attractions.

It'd be the best to have a bootcamp over here. I'm always in touch with Rob Myers from Pana anyways so if something ever comes up about it i'm sure he'll let me know.
