I don't use the battery that comes with the FS-100, but instead use an IDX V-Mount Battery that is attached to a Zacuto battery plate. You think that could be the reason? I also recently blew a Varizoom Swit on-camera LCD. I don't know if was caused by a bad DC regulator on the LCD, the cable, or the battery.
