Hi I Have a HVX w/ no P2 cards. I am trying to record HD to a fire store drive. I set up the firestore to capture HD but when i hit record on the camera it records to SD.
I watched the video below to make sure the fire store is set up correctly.

Is the problem on the camera side of things? I have tried to set it both to tape and p2 mode. p2 mode is the only mode where i can set up HD in recording setup, but it wont allow me to record to firestore. When the switch is to tape mode i cant change the recording settings to hd but the firestore allows me to record. Unfortunatly when i press record the firestore then switches back to SD. Any suggestions?
