HVX vs. DVX?

It might be a stupid question to ask but I would like to know what is the difference b/w HVX and DVX. I know HVX is HD cam using P2 card. I've used DVX for a while and it is a great camera and it has a great image quality. What is the advantage of me getting HVX?

Thank you very much

The HVX can do different frame rates resulting in nice motion effects, slow-mo or sped up, often called undercranking/overcranking in reference to how film works.

The HVX has an improved lens over the DVX, and it's LCD puts your info on the edges of the window so you can see most of your frame. When shooting in a 16:9 aspect, none of your image is covered.

There are lots of posts here where you can find detailed information on the HVX. Check em out and draw your own comparisons to your camera.

NO MORE DIGITZING. improved workflow and an ability to have more IT config.

4:2:2 color so much better for greenscreen work and high end graphics AE work.

Simply a different league of camera that really gets WOWS.

and girls... you'll get all kinds of girls just by holding it in a crowded area, malls are exellent for this
