HVX verses DVX wide angle resolution finishing on DVD

Shot with the DVX last week. Close ups looked great, wide shots seemed a bit to soft.

Wondering if the HVX will give more useable resolution to wide angle shots viewed in DVD. Remembered Barry saying that SD to SD will give better images than HD to SD downconverted.
 
The HVX's wide-angle capabilities may exceed the DVX's, but it remains to be seen. A potentially sharper lens, and a wider field of view, are just two of the changes that have been made.
