Hey!
Some of you may remember me from the DVX days, but I've been out of the loop for a while now.
Anyway, I'm crewing up for a music video I'm directing in PHILLY (i live in LA now).
And I want to shoot HVX to cards with film lenses. I prefer a PS Teknik to a Red-Rock for ease of use, but I'm open to anything.
Minimal budget, but we definitely want to compensate people fairly.
Feel free to send reels for DP consideration, but I think the record label wants me to shoot it unless I can convince them otherwise.

So the bar is HIGH!
Rates are negotiable. If we just want your gear, we'll treat you like a rental house. If you wind up shooting, you'll get DP rate plus gear rental.
If I shoot, we could also work it out so that you come on set and get Assistant Camera rate plus gear rate.
Feel free to offer me a package deal (your time, plus gear)!!
I want to be fair and make everyone happy, and produce a great product--especially since i (blindly, perhaps) really trust and respect the people on the board.

FYI, we're planning on one long studio day for the basic setups, and then another lighter day to shoot the EXT. narrative portions. (No lights, just bounces and fills).
