HVX User Groups - Nationwide

Saturday, about 25 folks convened in Burbank to hear about the Redrock M2 adapter, watch a very cool short that was shot with the HVX, and generally learn about the camera and each other.

It was absolutely great.

Many thanks to DC for organizing it, and Jargon Entertainment for hosting.

Is there an HVX group in New York City? What about in San Francisco? What about Miami?

Can we set up an HVX User Group section on this forum?

There's nothing like face-to-face and hands-on when it comes to understanding technology and filmmaking.

I would love to see one in Fresno, California/Central Valley. I knew of one other owner and just this week found a 3rd one.

Thanks o' bunch! Yeah, we're already planning our next meeting, likely Jan or Feb. Got some great stuff in the works . . .

I've already discussed with Jarred Land about a seperate section for the User Group. He agreed and it is just a matter of implementing it. I reckon he has been busy though. All in due time. :)

Jake,
I'd be up for a Portland, OR one. I'm in a Final Cut Pro user group that just started up in Portland and so far it has been very beneficial.
