HVX user group in Santa Monica/ West La

Hey Matt, I guess usually the big big meets take time to gather, I didn't even make the last one. If you wanna meet up and just say what's up I'm down. I'm in the Westwood area.

I just got a "ton" of swiss chocolate (12.3 pounds) from my mother who came visiting but I already ate most of it :-) What is absolutely unbeatable here is the weather. At this time of the year it is quite rainy in Switzerland....
 
Yeah, so what do you have in mind? I'm just sitting pretty taking courses at Santa Monica college. I got an HVX but I'm still trying to build a network where we can shoot stuff. I'm not confident enough to be a DP

I do have some Video and Film experience.

I think meeting @ mainstreet for a coffee or so.

Cool, I'm not sure what everyone else' schedule is like but I'm not too sure what I'm doing weekend. Monday/tuesday before evening and wednesday/thursday of next week should be clear though.

Sorry I am in a production right now and couldn't get back earlier.
Well I hope I am don by Tuesday. Wednesday/Thursday sounds good.
 
I just moved here from Atlanta like two years ago. And only about one and a half (1 1/2) is LA? Less?

Best place to meet up is on the job! There's some DVXfesters shooting some stuff soon, jump in TimeFest to find out who's shooting in LA and offer a hand.

Don't know if everyone is following the LA thread but seeing if anyone wants to meet up since I probably wont be here June
