HVX timelapse into Avid question

Going to be shooting timelapse with the HVX interval rec function, for use in a 29.97 Avid timeline, on a film-originated project shot at 24fps. Project will be on-lined at 24p. So my question is, what mode should I shoot the timelapse in? 1080/60i, 1080/30P, or 720/60P (which seem to be the only framerates at which the interval rec funtion works)?

We want to shoot at one of the 1080 rates, and I thought 30p would be better than 60i, especially since it's going to be on-lined in progressive, but Avid's chart of Avid compatibility with the HVX's various formats and frame rates, says that Avid won't work with 1080/30P material.

Any ideas?
