Hey guys. Well looking forward to getting my HVX but been doing a little thinking. I have a profession field audio kit. With mixer and HD resolution hard disk recorder and boom mic, lavs all the good stuff. I also have a smart slate that displays and generates time code. I use this to sync to the recorder and on bigger shoots to the camera as well. Now I know the HVX can read and generate time code. And I know it sends it out over fire wire. Well, I was wondering if there is a company that has come up with a device that takes the fire wire signal the turns it into the standard BNC or XLR connection for time code. If that was the case then I could sync the camera and sound recorder to the slate like when I use the veri cam or digi beta. So if any one knows of anything or if there is even a company or someone on the boards that think they can make one. I think allot of people would be interested in buying one. I know I would.:beer:
