Some screen grabs from PERCEPTION Shot in 720 24pn mode with a floresent light...Needless to say, I think I like this camera...Thanks to all who regularly help with the tech questions...

PERCEPTION
Believing she just ran over her attacker, Kacy dials 911 for rescue. Without any knowledge of her location and her attacker injured somewhere outside the car, her long and terrifying wait begins...or does it?

Interesting look. That's an INCREDIBLY contrasty image. I love rim lighting though I've never seen it used to this extent in color footage. I'll have to see it in the context of the film to know if it works but props for trying something interesting.

How did you get the effect on the last screen grab? Did you film footage on a tv screen or is it a post effect?

it looks like he shot it through a window screen.
Nice images!

Thanks for the comments. Those shots were taken through an ordinary window screen. Gave a really nice effect. Here's a bit more from PERCEPTION

There's no post at all on this footage yet. In fact, it's not even color corrected. I placed an ordinary screen in front of the camera and mixed that with various focus points. That's what created the effect.

This is my first film with the HVX...I'm really happy with the footage.
