HVX? Should I still get one?

[RebelD]

I there i have decided to upgrade my camera and buy and HVX soon, but I noticed postings on the forum that says "HVX still has it" Is the HVX obsolete? and if so what has everyone upgraded too?

[Barry_Green]

The HVX has largely been supplanted by the HPX170, which is basically the same camera but with a lot more features and smaller and lighter too.

There is nothing wrong with HVX200. It really depends on what you want. What are you shooting?

I went from the HVX/Letus combo to a Canon 7D and could not be happier.

And what Barry said.
