hi All,

I had a problem while doing a shoot in which a few characters were sitting in front of the computer scree. The computer screen was flickering. I was shooting at 1080i/24AP.. this was looking disturbing and now I have to shoot more stuff so please let me know if I can fix this by changing some setting. I could not adjust the shutter speed beyond a point, it would stop at 24P

thanks

Put the shutter speed on syncro-scan, then go in the scene file menu and adjust the syncro scan shutter speed until the flickering goes away.

If it's a CRT monitor, try swapping with an LCD. Or, since you're shooting with an HVX200, see page 51 of the manual about SYNCHRO SCAN. Or do what Barry said before I got this post up.

Hi,

How do I put it on Syncro Scan? Do i turn the shutter speed off? I went to the Scene file and it gives me two options one is blank and the other is Yes. Need help.

thanks
