I am not sure if this is the right place to post, but since everyone here is in the market to buy i figure plenty of knowledgeable people are here to ask...

I already have my own setup, but a friend of mine is thinking of getting one. he directed me to this site:

http://soniccameras.com/catalog/pro...w.facebook.com/inbox/?ref=tn&products_id=5212

I told him it seemed too good to be true and that it was another one of those NY based online stores that arent honest. For this price of about 2500, it seems like you are getting way too much for what you pay.

I would hate to see him get screwed, and it seems like even a used basic hvx package is still around high 3k to mid 4k. any opinions?

Thanks for the info guys! much appreciated :)

i was almost sure of their shadiness, but i needed some more thoughts before i concluded with my own. now, off to the rescue before he gets screwed outta some good money!!
