HVX Rent-to-own Packages

This one has been posted a number of times before. You might want to do a search before starting a new thread about the HVX. I think that nearly everything has been covered numerous times here.

It is however, a really nice package.
 
That would be a question that no one other than yourself could possibly answer. There are many, many things to consider when contemplating a camera purchase. Perhaps the best suggestion that I can make would be to do some research (here is as good as any place to start) to see what you might need for your intended application(s).
 
so............ you are willing to pay 700 dollars a month for a camera?
Does that include "their insurance"?


24 months X $700 = $16,800.00 for an HVX, 3 batteries, a pelican case and 2 8gb P2 cards?

I may be wrong, feel free to correct me, if I am missing something
 
Dude, you're better off going to a quality dealer like Birns and Sawyer or EVS and having one of their sales rep work you out a great package deal. Then take take out a loan on it at the bank or through a credit card and save a bundle.

personally, I'll be getting my new toys with zero interest for one year through one of my credit cards, then I'll shift to another credit card for zero interest the secong year and ditto the third year, and hopefully be paid off by then with no interest. And of course I will have gotten a great package deal for multiple items from Birns and Sawyer.

Of course the above is only an options for those with large credit lines and very good credit.

but there's NO WAY I'd tell anyone to go for that high price deal you mentioned.
 
over $1500/month on some of those packages. NO WAY. grab a loan with better interest and terms. My friends ferrari f360 payments are $1600/month and thats for a $150K car. Find a better deal.
