HVX Remote zoom port broken

I have a bad habit of taking my camera off the tripod before I disconnect the Varizom zoom cotroller plug from the port on the side of the camera and now it doesn't work unless I hold the plug in a certain way. I know it is the camera and not the controller because I use the controller in my DVX and it works fine.

Does anyone know of an authorized Panasonic Repair facility in the Philadelphia area? I would rather take it somewhere than ship it.
