I wish I had some video of it, but that's what I can say: Pure awesomeness. I got to see two HVX + M2 projects projected last night at the Kodak Theater. There might have been MORE and I just didn't know it, but the two I knew were:
A music video where I did B-Camera w/M2 + HVX
And a 15second Ad DP'd by Geoff Reisner.
I'm not sure if it was the projector, the naked stuff on our Music Video looked really blown out and yellow but when the B-Camera Adapter footage came up, I was astounded at how nice it looked projected. It made me really happy to see it up there.
Geoff's Ad was really nice through-out, and made me goggle eyed at it's massiveness. It was all M2 + HVX and the people loved it!
We shot 720p24pN, not sure about Geoff. And it was a Digital Projection at the Kodak. I wish I knew more details, and I'm not sure if it makes a difference if it was a film transfer to film projection or straight digital projection from a file... either way it looked pretty nice! And these were just 48hr festival entries.
I'm impressed, and a little more in love with my HVX and M2 than I was before.
