Great SD footage. What were the DVCPRO 50 settings: 4:3, 16:9 60i, 30p etc?? Good job on the lower thirds, also did use Motion to create them. thanks

4:3, 30p, used After Effects for the lower 3rds, more comfortable with AEP
 
Very nice clean piece. Love the lower thirds a lot! Nice touch. Everything looked pretty clean. My .02 though would be to really try and get a soft focus narrow DOF for the interviews in the classroom with the imacs behind. The distant objects were battling for attention over the person speaking. WHen I do interviews with the HVX, I get as far away from the subject as the room would allow... but also being possible to get the most telephoto composition. If that's not possible then I'll try to minimize light on the background and then stop down with the lens. Creates a more person forward image...


The lighting was nice though.. rim light and all of that... Otherwise very nice piece and the opening montage was unique... great job

If i'm really picky:
you need to change the shot just before terry's first voice grab (bit of a jump cut)
also Terry and Don are both facing the same direction in their grabs.
either use a cut-away to bridge between tre shot's or flip one of them so they are looking the other way. same with the cut between jennifer and robert.
the shot off the back of MERCY's grab is also a bit of a jump (not too bad)
everything else is just perfect.

Excellent video. Good lighting, sound music and content. Great job on the broll. I was most impressed by the lower thirds. Very clean and professional. How did you encode for flash? It looks incredible.
 
Made the .flv using Flash Video Encoder that comes with Flash 8...

The on2 vp compression always looks really nice I think.

550kbps video rate, 96kbps audio rate
