With my PAL HVX in 1080 mode i have 1080i/50i and 1080i/25p. I was wondering what advantages if any do the NTSC modes below give you?
And is there an interlaced mode for the NTSC model in 1080?
Advantages? Well, 30P is another frame rate, so that's an advantage. 24P and 25P look nearly identical, although 24p is more work for the editing program (hence why we have 24P & 24pA).
But the main advantage is: 25p works on your TV system, our 24p doesn't. 24P works on our system, your 25p doesn't.
