HVX OPTIMIZATION KIT vs STOCK ACHROMAT

I recently bought a used letus extreme with an 82mm thread for my HVX...
This letus was originally purchased before december 07-- so according to Letus, this unit isn't compatible with the HVX Achromat...

My question is-- how much of a difference does the HVX optimization kit for the Letus make? and what are those differences??
 
I did not find upgrading to be a big difference. E2E was slightly better but overall negligable. What changed most was the ability to line up the GG with the sensor. The new achromatte and mount locked in the sensor more than the old (hardly any wiggle room for adjustment). This was a good thing with a downside - I had to zoom in about 2mm more to fill the image. I am glad I upgraded, but expected a bigger difference. Others found it to be a huge improvement.
