Hvx off-color image to external monitors

I usually can't help but get an off-color image to all external monitors I connect to my HVX. I have a Marshall and a big Sony that give me a decidedly magenta cast to any component signal from the camera live or played back, can't adjust it away with monitor color controls. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? Image on the build-in color monitor is perfect and true to actual subject colors.

Oddly, there are times external monitor colors are real...seems at times that color deteriorates over time camera in use, but then, at other times it's skewed from the start. No loose connection with output (component color) lead. Once, correct color returned when I removed and replaced blue lead to the monitor. I'm thinking it likely the original component lead supplied by Panasonic is defective. Has anyone else experience a similar problem? Is there some other work-around to get a component signal out of the camera?

Thanks,

Carey
