HVX not recognizing P2 or SD

I am in dire straits.

I have 2, 8 gig P2 cards which the camera will not recognize as being present.
They are not locked, and I can't even get the option to format.

I have also loaded the drivers on a 256mb SD card which the camera will also not recognize.

I have quadruple checked every possible setting and cannot figure out why the cam will not recognize any one of these cards.

Has any else heard of this? Is the camera just defective?

I'm supposed to shoot very soon and could really use some help.
Is there anything that I'm missing?

I guess it's possible that it's defective. Know anyone else with an HVX so you can compare, load your cards in their cam, etc?

Try the RESET button and see if that helps...

2 p2 cards and an SD card? I know the SD card works because I had photos on it from a camera that I cleared off to load the Drivers.

I don't think your cards are the problem, I think the camera is the problem. That's why I said to try and verify that your cards are good in another camera; I'm sure they will be.

Perhaps the RESET button will fix whatever's not functioning properly in your camera?
