HVX not reading P2 Cards

Has anyone had this issue. I have been shooting for a week solid with my HVX and not one problem, than on the last day I transfer my clips into my mac and insert the cards back into the camera and format them, after the format the be 1 and 2 lights wont stop blinking indicating the P2s arent being mounted to the camera, I have tried everything and am really stumpted. Am I missing something? thank got I can still go DV!
 
Is that in recording mode, or MCR mode? Can you put the camera into MCR mode before inserting the card, and format them that way?

Do you have a second camera that you can try the cards in? If the cards do the same thing in a second HVX, then there has to be something wrong with the cards, either physically, or something that the Mac wrote to the cards that makes the camera(s) choke.

It would be unlikely for both cards to fail randomly at the exact same time, but it is a remote possibility that the cards got fried somehow. If they did, they shouldn't mount on the Mac either.

One other thing you can do is to format the cards in a PC.
