Any tips for night shooting with the hvx? City lights, shiny cars, moon lit babes,etc.

White balance, and get a light if you can.

these are nice and don't heat up so you can gel them.
The hvx isn't as bad in low light as some people make it out to be.

These should probably go in the screengrabs section, but since you were referring to night shots, I posted these here.
Keep in mind that I'm not a DP (actually an editor), and this was my first time using this camera in the field. So I was bascially messing around with the various settings -- I tried to go manual for the most control. Obviously too much gain (you'll see), but not bad considering these are the amateur shots of a first time user. Shows how good the HVX is, I think.
