Greetings,
I'm beginning a feature shooting with 2 HVX/Redrock rigs. I'm curious if anyone has any insight on settings with this combination, particularly detail settings -- we will be doing a filmout. Looking on my big LCD monitor, the higher detail level settings produce the best results, but I'm hesitant to crank it higher than +4 for film. Thoughts? Secondly, I wonder if I'm OK bringing Master Ped below -4, to say -6 or -7?
Vertical Detail=0
Detail Level +4
Coring + 3
Master Pedestal=-4
Matrix=Normal
Skin Tone Detail=off
Vertical Detail Frequency=Thin
Cinelike-D
1080i/24PA
Film Camera
180deg shutter
Cheers,
morgan
