HVX LOOKS Super Contrasted. Help.

So I have two HVX 200's side by side. One I'm borrowing from a friend and the other belongs to the company I work for. The One I'm borrowing looks very contrasted compared to the one we use. And I'm puzzled to the max. I was going to try to transfer settings from my camera with an SD card but that didn't seem to work. Maybe something on my end?

So all the settings on both look the same but still the other camera looks so contrasted and it's driving me crazy.

Any Ideas?

ALL settings are the same? Menue and lens wise?
Can you hook them up to a monitor? Maybe one with A/B input so you can switch between the cams? Are they attached via the same connection eg composite?
Both are 200s? Not a 200 and a 200a?

Both are 200a cameras. I don't have a preview monitor today so I've just been testing them by recording and then comparing footage in p2cms.

I'll have a monitor to compare the cameras tomorrow.
who knows. Maybe I missed a "certain" setting.

no filters on the cameras besides uv.

Usually the master pedestal setting in the Scene File is what gives it the contrasy look. I would check that. If that dosent work do the master reset on both cameras just to make sure the settings are the same. (I dont know if that deletes firmware, you might want to check first).

If that doesn't help then either one is broken or its something else like a filter. Make sure you unplug everything too.

Also, are you seeing this on the camera LCD or after you transfer the footage from the P2 card? Check the "setup" level in the menu, make sure they are both set to %0 for P2 cards. (Thats not the default by the way).
