HVX in HYDERABAD, INDIA

FIRST OF ALL THE ROAD SHOW IN INDIA WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT BECAUSE

01.THEY CAME WITH THE NTSC CAMERA.
02. Most of my questions remain unanswered, they politly askes me to send an e-mail with all the doubts and promised to give reply through their tech. team.

The entire crowd here was more interested to know about the P2 issues DVCPRO50 etc. and I was the only one who was looking it as a 25P camera. Entire presentation was mainly about P2. Interestingly they refused to answer about the HD resolution of the camera. They said HVX chip is capturing image at 1820X1080 50p and resizing for MINI DV, DVC PRO50 and DVCPRO HD outputs, (That also later after the presentation was over and when I followed them kept on asking about it)

But to me the NTSE footage itself was very convincing and if PAL
is of same quality I will be happy

Sorry to hear that this was kind of diasappointing, but unfortunatly it seems like not every pana rep is a "jan c."

I think after reading this forum for some time most of us could easily do a good promotion and information job for them.

by the way:the european Forum on panasonic-broadcast.com is a SHAME!
