Today (9-27-09) while shooting timelapse my HVX-200A went wacky. The very first image it sees when powering up creates vertical smears that fully corrupts the picture. As if it would be image lag for those who were around in the Plumicon tubes days. Repeatedly powering down and up straitened it out temporarily only to have the same anomaly occur a second time.
Frame Grabs are self explanatory, and frankly scare the hell out of me

An additional note on this. The auto iris was intermittent during this behavior.
