It sure would be nice if someone offered a service where you could send in your HVX and either have the LCD or the viewfinder replaced with a higher quality one.

I'd pay good money for that.

agreed, it doesn't seem like it would be too complicated.

Then again, for the money of a higher resolution LCD to replace the current one (both for service and purchase of the unit), you might do better just getting an external LCD monitor that can clamp on.
