HVX HD down converted to Dv

:Drogar-Dum(DBG): Hi there all. I just got my new P2 Camera and it's just great. the HD image is amazing. Does anyone know how to down-convert the HD TO DV? I got a fast little shoot coming up and I don't have time to deal with HD posting so I'll do the SD on this one, but I thought I read somewhere you could shoot HD and downconvert to dv for a better SD image. Any thoughts?
 
See Operating Instructions page 85 - Dubbing the contents of P2 cards onto tape (dubbing mode). Otherwise do it in post.
