HVX + G35 Beta

Wow, that looks great. U say its a prototype, will it be for sale anytime? Or is it something you made yourself? How much would it cost?

I'm getting the camera any week now, and I want to start looking into 35mm adaptors.
 
this adapter will never be released it seems - i've lost faith in their delivery but not yet in their product - still the best adapter around, but when will it hit the shore
 
Great colors and and comp! Makes me more and more excited for the G35.....

As a beta tester with the HVX, do you find the switch(viberating) in the G35 needed for HD?

Is anyone having a tough time getting on the Cinemeks site?
 
Jesse .. you have the original G35 so 'dialed in', man. Everything you point the camera at always looks interesting.

You should explain to everyone that this is the original G35 prototype with a static GG.

I'm always suprised by how the G35 has such good edge to edge sharpness, or at least looks like it.
 
Yeah just to reiterate - this is an original STATIC BETA version of the G35. I'm really excited about Cinemek's new design. If it's this sharp with the old version, I think we're in for a pleasant surprise when the new adapters are released.

Great footage Jesse. I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that we had some server issues and we are currently in the data recovery mode. As a result, my email is down as well. Hi everyone,

I just got off the phone with Jonathan @ G35.

Don't fret, he was out of town and his harddrive crashed and is currently at a harddrive recovery centre. Thus, his website & email being down. He will have some type of Flash page up within a few days on www.cinemek.com as a temporary site until his harddrive is recovered.

I also spoke with him about the ETA on the G35 units and everything is going quite well with the manufacturing. He's hoping that a bunch of units will be ready by mid to late April for shipment.

Stand by for the greatest 35mm adaptor of all time!

Wow.. did anyone see what happened? This thread turned from Redrock appreciation to a G35 love in all from just a single word from Jon Houser...

I'll never underestimate the power of G35 again!!

But seriously though, those guys better come with edge to edge to edge sharpness and noooo grain... I want my Nikkor to give me Panavision !!
 
Oh sorry, it's late. I thought I was in the thread where the guy who shot the airport used a redrock and it was killer sharp and that footage ruled. Go look at that quick. Sorry again.
 
How much is this thing (G35) going to be do you think? Also just so I don't get off subject great stuff man. This guy here really wants a Hvx200. The camera is increditable.
