Hi! I have been checking out this forum for awhile now to get great tips for my DVX. Today I took the plunge and bought an HVX200 and a FS-100. Both are pretty awesome and I can't wait to shoot some good footage.
I did some tests tonight shooting at 720 24p saving on the FS-100 as quicktime files. In final cut pro 4.5 ( Haven't got 5 yet, holding out for 6 this month) when I import the files they have no audio. The clips play fine within quicktime or through the camera but once they are in FCP they have one mono track labeled A1 with no audio.
Is this from using an older FCP or am I doing something wrong?
Also, is there a way to utilize P2 in FCP 4.5 at all?
