HVX Flickering Footage Problem

Hello -

I have a flickering footage problem that has started since I updated the HVX to handle 32GB P2 cards. I don't know if this is happening because of the update, but I thought I would mention it anyway.

What is happening is that from one frame to the next the footage seems to go blurry or 'halfrez', and then pops back again. I have a clip where it happens pretty heavily, and then stops after a second or two, but starts up again. To some degree this seems to be happening on ALL clips, but this one is a lot harsher. Footage is 24PN, but 30PN has done the same...

I just looked at some much older footage and it seems to happen on there as well, on occasion. It's especially visible in highlights. The strange thing is it just stops and starts, and it has varying degrees of pulsing - it's not on ALL the time....

I would expect flickering on interlaced footage, depending on what I am shooting, but I would generally not expect it this severe on progressive footage. It looks like every other frame loses half its resolution... I wonder if something is broken on the camera? Is there a number to contact panasonic tech support?
