In September, I shot a music video that has just finally landed on YouTube.
It was recorded live on the roof of a building (yes, the audio is a live recording, not playback) and it was shot with three different cameras:
The tripod camera is an HVX200.
The Steadicam camera is a DVX100A.
The 4:3 fixed stuff is a Logitech webcam.
The DVX and HVX intercut better than I expected, but I could certainly see the 4:1:1 versus 4:2:2 color difference, and had to do a 2 pixel horizontal chroma blur on the DVX footage.
Because the artist does live recordings in his house for YouTube using that same webcam, the idea was to tie it into the higher-quality stuff. ...And to composite the webcam footage onto the laptop when it's visible in the other shots, but it became extremely time consuming and was abandoned.
