hvx capture settings to premiere pro cs3

what's up to everybody , I'm filming with the hvx 200a and using Premiere procs3. my dvds are coming out slightly distorted and little blurry. I'm wondering if maybe it is my capture settings. what are the best settings for capturing footage? and do the settings change for p2 and tape?

don't know about tape, but with CS3, you don't actually "capture" P2 files. Copy the contents of a P2 card to a hdd folder. When you start a new project, set the project to whatever mode/resolution you shot your footage in. In CS3, you just "import" the MXF files directly.
