Wow agreed the breathing makes it like a combo zoom in/ focus pull...

the lens is a canon FD 50 (1.4) prime. I think the indifocus was 299. indifocus rails & plate were 99

is 'breathing' a function of the lens only? i was going from 2ft to 12ft with that pull.

thanks for the info. i'll try to watch that. i have a longer lens that doesnt seem to 'breath' so much. i can see how that would 'distract' a viewer. blessings..

i have a brevis with 3 lenses. 85mm, 24mm, and 50mm. all nikon. the 50 mm 1.8 lens breathes way more than the other 2 for some reason.
